Kilgad Fishery Rules

Kilgad Fishery is a fly fishing only water.

Rubber Imitations, Ground Bait, Maggots, Worms, Power Bait and Flicker Spoons are all prohibited.

Barbless hooks are to be used when fishing Catch and Release.

All fish are to be netted and care exercised when releasing.

Fishermen using the lake and car park do so at their own risk.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Any fish that bleeds or is suspected of having disease must be killed and brought to the fishery hut.

Fishermen must carefully discard any leader material.

Egg files and Blobs must only be fished on a floating line using a strike indicator and barbless hook.

Anyone contravening any of the above rules will be asked to leave the fishery.
